“This is a long overdue letter to let you know how much I appreciate the entire staff in your office. In the six years I have been associated with your practice, I have always found your employees to be highly professional, yet at the same time warm, caring, and interested in me as a person.

What finally prompted me to write this letter was my most recent visit, on June 19, which happened to fall on the same day as a visit to another doctor’s office.  The difference in the way I was treated at the two offices was amazing!  At the other doctors office I was barely greeted, rudely questioned about my insurance, and left in the examination room without even a “The doctor will be right with you.”  On the other hand, while at your office later that day, Christy, Sandy and Norma all took time to greet me, visit with me, and make me feel welcome.  I have felt this way every time I’ve visited your office, with everyone with whom I’ve come in contact.
I’ve learned that one should never take for granted the value of a courteous, professional staff…..not every office has one.  You, however, have the best!  Please pass on my appreciation of their efforts to your staff.”

“Dr. Matthews has been my dentist for over twenty years. From the beginning, Dr. Matthews changed my apprehensiveness of going to the dentist. As a child, living on a farm, I did not go to the dentist regularly and my dental health suffered. I was scared to go to the dentist because of bad experiences. Dr. Matthews and his staff slowly but surely, helped me restore my confidence in going to the dentist. With all the dental work I have had done through the years, Dr. Matthews and his staff still cater to my nervousness at times and always help me relax. They have a sign that says: (We cater to cowards!) They know me as a person (friend) and not just a "patient" or another "mouth".

Through many years of major dental work, TMJ, teeth grinding, mouth guards (to relieve my grinding), I finally decided to take Dr. Matthews recommendation too completely redo all my teeth. Dr. Matthews and I decided on a plan that would take approximately a year and a half to complete, but more importantly, finally get my jaw and bite back to it's natural position. Section by section my crowns and bridges were replaced with new crowns and veneers and my bite is finally even. Friends and co-workers comment on how great my smile is and that my teeth are so white. Yes, I could have gone the other route and gotten false teeth, but you know nothing can replace the "real" thing. My teeth will be part of me forever and they will be "MY" teeth. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" is so true. I feel so much better and my smile is bigger and brighter than ever. Thanks to Dr. Matthews and his excellent techniques and compassion for his patients. I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Matthews and I recommend him as;The Best".

He takes the time to explain all my dental options, provides his recommendations, listens to my concerns, and accepts my decisions while treating me with respect.

In other dentist's offices, I have often felt like an assembly-line product. I have felt that procedures were recommended, not because they would improve my dental health, but because they would fatten the dentist's wallet.
